After school fight leads to stabbing

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― A West Philadelphia High School student was stabbed during an after school fight Monday. Authorities said the altercation happened one block from the school at 48th and Walnut Streets at about 2:30 p.m. According to Philadelphia police, the unidentified 15-year-old girl suffered lacerations and stab wounds to the back of her head, cheeks, bridge of nose and hands. She was taken to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia were she was listed in stable condition. Police said they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and at this time no arrests have been made.
